I actually now have 6 of these planters and I like them very much. Mine are used to creat a sun shade for my patio. They are a bit pricey but I think still worth the price.

I am on our 3rd or 4th summer using this planter and really like it. It is substantial without being too heavy like ceramic pots can be. We haven't had any flaking or cracking, even though it sits in all-day sunshine and occasional rain for five months of the year. I do store it inside during the winter so it isn't exposed to cold and snow.
