Beautiful heavy duty Faux Wood Blinds

Beautiful heavy duty Faux Wood Blinds. All hardware is included to mount it and it comes with a Cornice Box. It is a bit heaver than I expected so I would recommend mounting it to the wooden window frame. If you mount to the wall be sure to use the included dry wall mounts. It is a little hard to expand and close, but I think that will loosen up a bit once you start using it. It is 7 1/2" long when closed and 3 1/2 thick. The overall width and length measure true when fully expanded.

Descent blinds

The pull style of these blinds is nice in some ways. Getting the bottom to be firm against the window sill isn’t the easiest. It is nice not to have to worry about the cord to be able to pull this up and down. I see this style lasting longer than the older cord type. I wish the rod to rotate the blinds was on the right side instead of the left side for where I have it mounted. Great look and functional

I have one window in my kitchen gets a lot of sunlight. I wanted a blind that looked good but was also functional. This blind is faux but looks quite real. I also like how it is cordless which keeps it a lot cleaner and also is a good safety feature. It is a little different to follow the directions but after reading a couple times, I was able to install without issues. The one negative is that there were a couple scratches on the top of the blind. I took a picture to show the scratches.

Missing the Old

Purchased Allen Roth Blinds in every size I could find in store when I moved into my home. A year later I was ready to purchase more but they aren’t the same. The ones a year ago were beautiful, realistically colored, and overall just amazing. The ones this year are flat, boring, and a little cheap looking but now I am stuck.
