allen + roth Urn 15.25-in W x 26-in H Black Fiberglass Planter

Great Urn

I was looking for a specific pot to plant at my front porch. I knew it could not be wide, but wanted it big enough for some of my favorite plants. Well when I saw this Urn i knew I had found the perfect planting source. It is large enough to hold a good amount of soil for all the plants I had in mind, yet not so overwhelming that it took up an enormous amount of space. When I completed the planting it was absolutely gorgeous and fit the space perfectly. I have had many compliments on the u...

Arrived Broken

I ignored the reviews in hopes I would be lucky and that Allen Roth had improved the urns. Not the case. Both urns arrived broken via FedEx. They also look like they both have been out in the weather for at least a couple of years. I hope my local Lowe's accepts these back and gives me credit to my account. The sad thing is that I pre-paid for them! They both wobble so much that I am afraid that if I load them up with dirt and flowers they are going to tip over! Please do not purchase the...

I have noted these yet, but

it is a nice urn. The color is actually more yellowish than I expected, not as light as the one. In the store. Still the color is satisfactory. The 2 urns were shipped to the store. I was skeptical about condition as several people stated they were poorly packaged & arrived damage. Mine arrive with plastic wrapped around the top 1/.The bases had no chips at all. Both were in excellent condition. They look very realistic, even from up close. I have not planted in them yet or taken thru the 4 sea...

DONT BUY THIS URN!!! I think there's a defect!!!! I bought two of them and planted flowers then the unthinkable happened!!! They both started to leak and crack from the sides!! Just crazy...they look beautiful but Lowes should get them off the shelf!!!! Here's a picture to prove it!! I tried to wash it off the water rust stains won't come off!! Waste of money!!

Holes in pot

I was so excited to find these pots which matched closely to others I had. I filled with bags of soil and planted beautiful dahlias. As soon as I watered the pots, I saw Both had a hole half way down the pot. I emptied out the entire pots and tried duct tape, liquid nails and waterproof patches. Nothing could stop the leaks. I just put soil and plant back in and I’m going to live with the leaks until I find a solution.

Beautiful Urn

I purchased two of these to go on each side of my front door and they are beautiful just what I had always wanted. I was so happy with them I purchased two more for my back patio which I put large ferns in they are made of excellent quality and get so many compliments. I could not be happier with my purchase. I have had no problems with the quality of the planters and have had them now for 3 years.

Easily chipped

I bought this because I needed a black urn. I got it Home and pulled the cellophane wrapping off the top and immediately ripped off the black paint showing the white fiberglass underneath!! Just by taking off the cellophane?? Come on! I was so mad because this happened before I even planted my tree. For that price I could have bought a nice cast iron urn. Very frustrating and a rip off! I guess I’ll try and return it. Waste of time. I gave it 2 stars because it’s attractive.

Beautiful but will break unless reinforced.

This is beautiful and lightweight. HOWEVER, the base of this is hollow with a lip. After exactly 2 weeks the part where the urn connects to the base started cracking through from the weight. Lowe's allowed me to exchange this. Right my husband is trying to fix it by filling the bottom with concrete. I'm crossing my fingers it works because these are beautiful. Expensive considering they will break..

Look Nice...

I had seen these at local Lowe's and liked them, but not in the budget at the time. Went back and found them for $20 a piece, bought 3 of the 4 they had left. They look great with my fall mums and will be used seasonally. They did blow over during a recent storm, so not extremely heavy.

Great looking and sturdy!

I likes the Texture of the pots. I also liked the heavy base. I looked at similar of these style at another store and the bases do not seem sturdy as if they would tip over. These bases are heavy and Sturdy and doubt seem like the Will tip over in weather. We just recently had windy weather and they did not budge.
