I originally had an older model. The lights stopped working. So I got this one. This base is smaller. The wind started moving it. Which never happened to my first one. This one only tilts to a 45 degree angle. The first one didn’t a 180. The hand crank falls out constantly. I was able to return my first one for a full refund thru customer service. Wasn’t even a year old. I should have kept it.
Fabric disintegrated
I have only had this umbrella 1 year the fabric has completely disintegrated. I bought 2 of the same umbrellas 2 years ago and the fabric is wearing fine. Completely disappointed in this product especially for the price.

Canvas is not replaceable
While the umbrella is nice and the lights and all mechanisms still work, the canvas has deteriorated in the Florida sun and weather. I was unable find a way to order a new canvas online and was told in store that I would need to purchase a whole new umbrella. Very wasteful and expensive. I will not purchase Allen & Roth again.

No replacement covers
I've been looking for a replacement cover for over a year for this umbrella. Online they do have a replacement cover, but it always says it's out of stock. I gave my email to notify when it's available, but to no avail. I saw that another review had a similar experience and Lowe's replied that customers can call their customer service and they could assist with a replacement. I just did that and all they could do was tell me that it was out of stock at the moment.
