Seized up after a handful of uses in 13 months

Would Not Recommend

Installed in our basement 13 months ago for our water softener discharge. That means it turns on maybe 2-3 times per month when the softener regenerates. It made it not even a month out of warranty before the pump locked up. Unimpressive life span for a nearly $400 pump that was professionally installed last May.

I bought it based on reviews, I was excited to see many people commenting on how quiet it was. After installing to my washing machine and sink drain it was working fine....until it wasn't. First 2 loads worked fine and it was indeed more quiet than others I've heard in the past.. BUT, third times a charm right? During the cycle the float on the pump failed to lift causing the water to overflow the basin and flood the room. I'll skip all the in between stuff, but what a nightmare that was. Any...

I originally wrote the one star review for this product in Feb 2023. Since then I was able to contact Zoeller customer service who helped me with the problem. I attempted to fix the problem myself with the help of Zoeller and it started to work ( a piece was not properly positioned/attached near the float) but there was some damaged parts inside that could pose an issue down the road. Anyway, I was able to return it to Lowes. I tried to order a new one at Lowes but they said they couldn't do tha...

I ordered this last week and was going to put it in today. I ran into some issues with my sink placement and I needed to correct, so while that was being handled I decided to test my new pump outside before I installed it. I hooked everything up and it didn't work. I had to put a screw driver in and lift the pump switch myself to get it to work. I tried about 5 times and it wouldn't work. I looked through one of the holes and I could see the float was turning sideways and it never traveled up ...

Remote sink basin pump

Would Recommend

This unit solved a washer drain problem that the main drain stack was 5 feet higher than the washer hose drain. I ran the washer hose into a utility sink which drains into the pump basin. The sump pump then sends the water up to the main drain stack. Works like a charm!
