What a piece of junk.....
We have owned this junk heap for just over 3 1/2 years. In that time I have had to replace the motor/pump assembly, tray wheels, and door seals. The leaking door seals ending up making it rain in our basement. Since I have some mechanical abilities and the proper tools, my repair costs were just parts. If I couldn't repair it myself, I am sure the repair bills would have easily been more than what the machine cost. As for cleaning: I had to clean out the filter and traps every third wash. And n...

Great for 3 years and then does not clean
Great dishwasher for 3 years but kept getting worse and worse cleaning the dishes. Now we have a large paperweight that will cost $400 to fix out of warranty. Does not make sense to dump knowin that in 3 years we will have to dump another $400 or more.

Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher for several years. It is very quiet and cleans well. The only downfall is the plastic parts that hold the racks in place have fallen off and ended up on the heat element that dries then melted. I ordered replacements but feel they should have lasted longer. I also lost a wheel somehow off the bottom rack.

Dishwasher Not working-stops halfway midcycle
We bought this dishwasher 4 years ago. Since last year it has started having issues with cycles. It seems to get confused and does not complete the cycle after every 3 4 days. Then we have to power off and try it again and it works well couple days then again goes in the confused mode. When we open it we see detergent tab half dissolved in morning. Not enjoying whirlpool appliances
We bought all new appliances when we moved to our new house 4 years ago. We have had numerous repairs to our refrigerator (15ish) and now we are replacing our dishwasher. We didn't think we would need the extended warranty on it. We were wrong! It had a leak from the underside and after we thought we fixed it we apparently didn't and it leaked again and warped our wood floors. Quiet when running and cleans well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This looks very beautiful for a white dishwasher with the snow and ice series and the beautiful handle. I am not used to having my silverware in the door, but it does give more plate room. A dishwasher is such an important item for me in the kitchen and this one has a totally different arrangement so I am getting used to it, I can't say an immediate that I love the twains yet, I am still learning how to move them to best hold my plates.
