Plastic exhaust tubing tends to get "hot." Not all that great in cooling my bedroom down. :-(

I use a bedroom as my office that tends to get warm in the afternoon. This portable A/C unit blasts cold air and keeps me cool very well. I am very pleased with its performance. I paid less than $300 for this unit and it has been well worth it.

One star due to missing parts/customer service

I ordered this for a small craft room and it was delivered today. I will update this if/when I am able to use it. I unpacked everything (and this thing is heavy). The window vent installation instructions tell me to "Cut the foam seal (adhesive type) to appropriate length . . ." and then "cut the foam seal B (non-adhesive) . . . " There is absolutely no foam window seal in the box. I went back and looked through all the styrofoam and everything but nope, no foam seal. I then called the assistanc...

Misleading info; avoid delivery

Not only is the product description misleading (you cannot wash both of the filters), but to make matters worse Lowe's has an absurdly short return policy on deliveries. You have only 48 hours to report damage. If I brought it into the store and said, I hate it oh, and by the way it's busted, it would probably have gone better for me. as it is, I said: hey, it's broken. they say: sorry, too late.
