Broiler in bad place

The range was included with the new home (from the builder) The broiler is below the oven where a storage drawer is normally located. Both of us have back issues and can’t bend to get down on our knees to use the broiler. The first time trying it, the food almost fell to the floor as the grate falls downward, not straight out.I have used it twice in a year. It is working fine. Standard stove baking settings are not as clear as I would like.

I purchased this range online which was a big mistake. I should have gone to the store and talked to a customer service rep. Online, the description was a "natural gas range". In Hawaii in our subdivision there is NO natural gas. We are on propane. When I turned the range on, HUGE flames appeared. I had to call an appliance specialist (not recommended by Lowes), and he took care by installing propane electrodes in my stove. Excellent Style & Function

This stove is great! The quantity is excellent. The stove grates are excellent weight and extremely well made. Stove style is versatile for any kitchen. Black color is beautiful medium matte tone shine. The burners and oven responds immediately. Great price for excellent quality.

Great value, great cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range is very nice looking. Slid in easily where my last range was. I like the broiler drawer separate from the oven. Pre-heating takes no time at all. I like the grates because they cover the burners completely. It Sears meat very nicely. Very consistent in its temps.

2nd gas range in 20 years

I bought this to replace the first whirlpool gas range I had for 20 years. Very happy with continuing with whirlpool.

Don't do it!

After using this stove for a few months I can only say I totally regret the purchase. 1, Lowes doesn't take returns. 2, the build quality is poor. 3, the overall use is just a pain: Both large burners are in the front. Duh. Like I want to have to reach over a boiling pan to stir something I'm trying to simmer or sauté behind it? Good grief. The lowest flame isn't low at all. You can't really do a low simmer. It's a low boil, and it's caused me a lot of waste of food that ISN'T supposed ...

Extremely Dangerous Range & Terrible Support

I purchased this range on February 27, 2026, and it has been nothing but a nightmare and a serious safety hazard. This unit gets extremely hot from everywhere — not just the cooktop, but the front, the sides, the control panel, and even the knobs. It gets so hot that you literally cannot touch it while it’s operating. Even worse, the heat spreads to the surrounding countertop, which became dangerously hot and caused burn damage to my kitchen cabinet. I exchanged this range three times through ...

Dangerous

The grate on the top is spaced so far apart that a small pan tips over very easily. I’ve almost burned my hand or arm several times with boiling liquid. If a small child is standing near you and the pan tips the child will have boiling liquid spilled on him/ her. I can’t believe a class action lawsuit hasn’t been filed yet. Please don’t purchase this unless you plan on using only large bottom pans.
