I previously had a Samsung 5 burner stainless steel stove/oven. It was a great stove UNTIL the control board conked out 3 months after purchase. I rarely use the oven, so I failed to follow up. I bought THIS Whirlpool brand thinking hey, these guys have reliable products! It remains to be seen if it will actually be reliable. The Sumsung has a MUCH much better build quality. In 3 years I’ve needed repairmen to come out twice
I’m surprised to read some many positive reviews of this range. We’ve owned one for 3 years, and during that time we’ve needed to pay for parts and labor twice already, for 2 different parts failures. First time, the oven igniter went out and the oven wouldn’t heat up at all. Second time, the oven sensor went out and it’s dropping temperatures. Buyers, beware, many short term reviews will say it’s a great value, but from someone who’s owned it for a while, this is not a good product.

No Durability
Worked for four months and now there is a short in the electrical panel and the unit is tripping the breaker. I can't even have the stove plugged up because if I try to use other smaller appliances on that same breaker, it makes the small appliance usage trip the breaker as well.
