Mostly a microwave
I wanted to get my old standalone air fryer off the counter and just do my air frying in this. I have tested with a standard oven thermometer, it only achieves 350F when set to 400F, so fries and nuggets etc do not get crispy in a timely manner. There is no setting higher than 400F. The bake mode seems to be able to get near 400F. The grill mode could not toast an English muffin in 20 minutes. Good for tech savvy folks
Right off the bat I loved how big the inside was. The pans are nice and big I think 12" but I'm not sure but the legs don't fold. I would have preferred a mesh basket with a tray underneath. They seem sturdy and durable! There is a learning curve but the quick guide is super helpful and even shows you how to turn off the child safety lock. Combo microwave, air fryer, convection oven
We've only used the air fryer part twice now, and aren't impressed with the results. This is the only air fryer we've used, so we have nothing to compare it to. If we use it more, and get used to it, we might like the air fryer part. Using it as a straight microwave, it works fine.

We have not yet used the bake function so no comment on that. The instruction manual is confusing, what the heck is a food catagory. It would make sense to explain what the device is actually doing.
