If there's a unit with 0-9 numbers, buy it instead

I HATE the new microwaves. You shouldn't have to have a degree in math to cook a quick snack. For some inane reason, Whirlpool has decided that giving us 0-9 numbers needed changed. You have 1-6 for instant, full minute cooking times--but if you want anything in between, or more than 6 minutes, you have to play "how can I get to the number I want" or even " CAN I get to the number I want. Needs a Complete Number Panel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave was the perfect size to be placed over our wall oven and I liked that the installation kit was available for this specific model. I dislike that the number panel only contains the numbers 1 - 6. If you want 100% power, then the numbers act as the length of cooking time. If you want anything other than full minutes, you have to use the plus/minus buttons. You also have to use the plus/minus buttons to change the power settings....

It's a great countertop microwave!

It seems there is a trend to not have a microwave above the stove these days, and this one just sits on the counter top. It works great and I'm happy with it!

Of course, I should mention that there are no buttons but just pressure-sensitive spots for all the functions. The only button is the one you push in to open the door. Have to push too many buttons to start it

The door is really loud. The keypad is all wavy and looks terrible. You have to press too many buttons to get to the time that you want. Definitely not worth the money I paid for it. Somebody had recently returned that microwave and left food splattered in it. You could tell the box had already been opened. Totally dissatisfied with Lowe’s and my purchase. I also get an error on the keypad telling me the door is not closed when it is. I would not recommend this product to a friend
