Wetwall Wilsonart 30-in L x 0.4-in D x 72-in H Norwegian Elm 4 -Piece Glue Up Bathtub Wall Panel Kit

Unconventional but practical

I like this product but it has some limitations. It is great if you what a quick bathroom remodel or if you are putting it in new construction. If your walls are not flat (soap dish bump out, trimmed details that project out, etc) you will have more work to do to get the surfaces in the same plane. While the gluing application makes it seem like a weekend warrior can take on the installation of this type of product, you should understand construction techniques, be confident enough to move quick...

A great idea, but not for me

I ordered this in the midst of remodeling by primary bathroom hoping to cut back on the amount of tile work I had to do. Within a half hour it was clear I was not going to end up using this, so I can't speak to the longevity of the product but merely mark my observations. First off, it looks REALLY nice. While I would have probably preferred a bit more texture, it still looks better than just a completely screen printed pattern. It does make it look not-so-cheap like some of these shower in ...

Better than other options on the market

These were the best looking of all the shower wall panels I found. I took a chance as these panels had no reviews and I can say based on many of the other walls I researched these are the best quality and value compared to the others. Texture has a light sheen but isn't as glossy and cheap looking as some of the others on the market. Included caulk matched nicely and adhesive is strong. Panels were very well packed, with only a slight bow to them. This is to be expected from any shower walls pan...

Affordable Optiom Compared to Other Materials

When we ordered this product we were in the process of renovating our bathroom. It was very outdated and needed a modern update. This plastic composite bathtub wall kit is perfect for an inexpensive update that requires very little skills to install. We had an issue with our walls during the tearing out of the tiles but when measured out the kit fits perfectly in a standard tub surrounding. The shipping was incredibly quick, a lot faster than anticipated, but it did seem to have slight bend in t...

Great product for some applications

The material looks fairly good quality. Installation difficulty is low. Important to note you will need to brace the panels to wall until the adhesive is set. If you only need to make cuts for your heads and handles you are in good shape. For recessed areas I didn't find good techniques anywhere on how to keep joints from looking ugly or where to get extra material. Also, double check your height. If you have extra wall to cover you'll have to come up with some real creative solutions. As of the...

Okay solution depending on needs

After ordering this, Old Dominion trucking called to arrange delivery. The truck driver was very helpful to get it into the garage. It came on a pallet that was double in length. It is heavy and bulky so it requires more than one person to move. One panel was on the outside of the box, damaged by shipping. Thankfully that wasn’t a panel intended for use. We had planned to use it, per the instructions, over existing tile. Looking at it in person, the wood pattern looked too artificial for my li...

DIY Easy!!

My wife and I installed these in new construction in about 3 hours. Had to do some cutting, which was super easy with circular saw and jigsaw. All the adhesive and sealant was included so made the whole process absolutely painless. We HIGHLY recommend this as an alternative to tile, especially for the DIY'r.

Great product

I got this product from Lowe’s and began my remodel of my second bath. I really like this product a lot. It’s very nice and will make a much needed improvement. This product is well made and appears to be very easy to clean. The installation appears to be easy. Unfortunately I haven’t installed the tub surround yet but wanted to leave a review on the product because I am happy with the construction. I would highly recommend this product. My neighbors have the same product but ...

Looks decent

This comes with everything you need for the install. The wood grain look is nice, but considering the cost of the item, it’s not as high end as I would have liked. We are using it in a remodel of our lake cabin, so it is fine for our needs there. It definitely will take 2 people because the panels are quite heavy. You will also need something to keep the panels in place while they are drying to the wall. Overall, I’d recommend this to someone who is doing a low budget remodel or someone who isn’...

Did not like this

We received this with panels damaged; I contacted Lowes Loop but was unable to send a picture in time for them to send replacement panels. The color is much more red/pink (than we expected- less mid-century warm colors and more oak). The panels seem thin and bend easily. They do appear fairly water resistant and don't swell when wet, but the color was not what we imagined. If not for how easily damaged they are and the color tone, I would have rated this higher.
