This is the first and last Westinghouse product I would ever purchase. I followed all instructions as printed in manual and have been unable to get the washer to even start. I had other family members attempt to start as well and all have been unsuccessful. To date customer service has not offered me any satisfaction. dangerous
Washer pump exploded while using. Thank God no one hurt. Called Westinghouse for new pump. They claimed because I stored in shed during winter caused issue. Where else do I put it? My living room? Ending up paying 70.00 for new pump. So much for the 3yr warranty. There customer service truly sucks!!
Engine sputtering
After reading all the reviews, I think we got a lemon. The plastic pull handle broke after about 10 pulls, the pressure hose split after about 10 to 15 hours of use, now the engine is sputtering and will not stay running. I replaced all the fuel with high octane gas and it runs better but still continues to cut off during use.
Started ok exactly once
Started great the first time I used it and worked perfectly. Left it in my garage for 2 months and went back to use it a second time. Unit refuses to start. Checked that all switches, etc., are in their correct position, but nothing makes a difference. Lousy product. Do not buy.

junk for top dollar price. Run away from this item
Bought a new model 3240. Hard starting and when finally got it going it backfired numerous times and when it did the unit shut off. did exactly as instructions said. Missing parts for the soap tank. pressure hose was scraped and cover damaged. scratches and a hole in the handle. Called westinghouse.
