Great grill

We bought our Ranch grill about 5 or 6 years ago. It is made to last. There is no rusted out places on the grill and it is kept uncovered 365 days a year. The grilling grate is still in great shape. I probably need to replace the charcoal grate but it is still in usable shape. I can not tell you the number of times that we cook on this grill. I will load it up on Sundays and cook what meats I want for the week so that when I get home from work during the week all I have to do is cook the s...

I brought this grill back in 1995 it still looks brand knew I grew up with nothing but Weber Grills our first one was Tan with the imprint of a steer head with horns I love Weber grills in our family for over 50 years. I own 9 Weber from the Lil Smokey Joe to this 37 in . Thank you Weber for such great quality. Ive baked pies pizzas whatever you cook on the stove I cook on Weber.

Wonderful BBQ, charcoal grate could be improved

I've had this Ranch Kettle for many years. It stands outside, uncovered for years, all seasons, remains spotless. The way it cooks is amazing. Not only high quantity but quality as well. Here are some pointers or improvements for Weber to consider: I wish Weber made a cover for the Ranch Kettle for obvious reasons. The Charcoal Grate sags in the middle over time. Becomes bowl-shape. Very well made. Have always had Weber grills and think they are the best. Only thing with this grill is I wish it had come with a thermometer.

Great Purchase

I've used the Ranch Kettle several times and am overall pleased. I use the Slow 'n Sear inserts which really work well. The only reason I give 4 starts instead of 5 is the ash removal process. Removing the grill grate and the lower grate is pretty cumbersome due to their weight, but I expected that with a grill this size. If you're going to grill this large you have to be able to handle the parts. My problem is actually with the small vents in the lower bowl. I use a mason's brush to clean...

Amazing Grill! Extremely Versatile!

I recently added a Ranch Kettle to existing 22.5 Kettle and 22.5 WSM. We host several events per year where the 22.5 WSM shines; however our gatherings had grown too large for the capacity of the WSM. Just like any kettle, the Ranch Kettle is an incredibly versatile grill. In a month of having it, I have 3 cooks on it; including a 4th of July party. First cook was ribs (sorry no pics of set up). Long term use review

I have had the ranch kettle for 17 years…the grates need replaced…the thing that gets me is I have holes starting to show on the bottom kettle at the sidewalls..is this d st something that is covered in a warranty? Let me know, I can send pictures..

Yessir

I’ve had mine since the early 2000s. I used to be a chef and I am also the owner of a catering company. I use this at home. It’s just a big Weber, which means it has all the same quality as the standard Weber or the Smokey Joe. I wish I could get a baby Weber but I guess they don’t actually make those.

A few improvements would make this 5 stars

I have two of these grills as I cater an annual event for my division at work. The heat efficiency is incredible. I use this as my daily grill and only need one chimney of coals to cook for my family of 5 with plenty of room to maneuver. When I cater with this grill, I still have plenty of room to cook different items (and I cater for gatherings of 120+) directly and room for indirect cooking as well. Will WOW your neighbors

I have been cooking on my Weber Ranch Grill for a few years and when I throw a few butts on or a few briskets I always have room to put another one on for all the neighbors. It’s so amazing to cook on! I can put charcoal on both sides and I never get any flair ups. It’s so fun to cool on
