Wayne Dalton Classic Steel Model 9100 16-ft x 7-ft 9 R-Value Insulated Brown Double Garage Door

Piece of Crap

Don’t buy this door.. I’ve had nothing but problems since I purchased 2 years ago.

Good door for the price.

This is the third time I’ve purchased a Wayne Dalton door from Lowe’s. Installation was fairly simple if you find a good YouTube video. I would buy again.

Garage door arrived damaged

Garage door panels were all damaged and fighting with the company to get a replacement. We finally will just take back to store and make them give us a refund. Do not buy this brand. Horrible customer service!

Damaged panels

All garage door panels are damaged. Paid extra to get it shipped from another Lowe’s store. Box looked in good condition other than where the plastic banding was. No response from Wayne Dalton. Lowe’s will not accept return at local store. I have to pay the installer just to show up and open the box to show us the damages.

Don't do it

I purchased a door from Lowe's even though the reviews are 3.3. The door came and we wanted to install it. The track was bent. I've been trying to call Wayne Dalton and get the track. I've been on hold. Working on this for hours. 3 days with help. Dwayne Dalton 800 number kept hanging up on me and then Lois didn't know what I was talking about when I finally got through to Wayne Dalton. They said I had to call Lowe's. What a joke!.

Not Impressed

I ordered 2 doors mid July for a delivery date of Aug 31 - Sept. I received over 55 emails / texts saying the order was processing . Then the due date came and went and the messages stopped. I emailed the company twice with 0 response. Lowes should be embarrassed by this vendor.

Face of door dented upon unboxing

So I paid more for this door because and employee at the store recommended going with the 9100 series o er the 8000 series. We unboxed it last night to get it installed and upon unboxing panel 4 which was the top panel in the box had three dents in it. I have another Wayne dalton door on order for a 16 footer that was a special order. I’m thinking about canceling. The package was not damage so it shows this is an escape from the factory and the alleged quality has no meaning now. We had the othe...

Sad company

Do not buy from this vendor. I bought 2 doors on Jul 4 with expected delivery 28 Aug. with NO contact on my order status I called Lowes to cancel this order and they called Dalton and told them of my request. I was contacted from Dalton they needed written confirmation of cancelling the order, I sent 3 and was told by Dalton they received it and had sent to the cancelling team. On 4 sept I got two emails one saying the door was in production and one that order had shipped. Lowes then billed me f...

Lost my shipment

coming up on 3 months soon and still not arrived. Have tried their customer service and never answered me after 1+ hr on phone waiting, never answered Lowe's representative when they tried calling vendor as well. 3rd time trying in 3 different days. This vendor needs to be removed from Lowe's as they are not fulfilling orders.

Exercise in Extreme Frustration

This was, without exaggeration, the most frustrating product experience I’ve ever had. Like many other reviewers here, I waited nearly three months for my order to arrive. I purchased three Wayne Dalton 9100 garage doors, and they were finally delivered this morning. The doors themselves were correct. The springs and hardware were not. I chose the 9100 model specifically because it is advertised as including the TorqueMaster Plus Counter Balance System. (The words “TorqueMaster Plus Counter B...
