Waddell 2.4375-in x 2.4375-in Metal Table leg straight top plate for Coffee table

Furniture hardware

I bought these a month ago. Ended up not using them because they were not applicable to my application. The pricing was fair, and the items seem well made. I returned to Lowes. Easy returns with receipt.

Easy to use

Easy to use. The tags on there tell you which hardware to match with so by the same brand check out the tag it tells you what the letter and then you can also make sure you match to the correct furniture leg using the same letter. We need to get home very easy to install.

Part of a kit

This was part 2 of a patch. I liked how the hardware a wooden leg match as a kit. My cabinet should be sturdier now and I won’t have to worry about it breaking every time I move it.

Lift furniture off the floor completely.

The center part into which you screw a table leg has a weak weld that fails unless the furniture when set back on its legs if fully lifted off the floor and set down at a 90 degree angle. We're old and lifting isn't easy and we snapped three or four of the legs off trying to get the furniture upright. If would be better if the item were one solid piece of metal with the screw hole drilled in its center. Caused us to have to buy extra parts.

leg brace

i bought this and got it home but could not use it.

Get your screw gun out!

These attached to my couch easily. The legs (purchased separately) screwed right in!

Very flimsy

These have a nut lightly welded into the center of a piece of thin sheet metal. If the legs of your furnture are subject to any lateral force, either the plate will bend or the nut will snap free of the plate. I used these on a sofa with 6 inch legs, and two of the four failed within hours. If the legs on your furniture are VERY short, you might get away with using these. I bought heavier plates elsewhere that are a single piece with a threaded hole through the center.

Works but not well made

It is great if you don't put too much pressure on it. I had two of them break when I tried to tip my dresser back up, the middle part where the leg screws into the plate just popped off.

Not very tough

Poor quality center bolt easily breaks away. First slight bump of table leg it broke out of the plate. First time anything hits the leg, kid, vac, stump your toe, It’s destroyed. Not worth bringing home. Poor quality.

Easy setup

Very simple setup to install my kitchen’s peninsula leg.
