WEATHER GUARD TR000-A 27.75-in Aluminum Multi-use rack (Hardware Included)

Easy to put together and install on truck.

Tie it down

Great price should also get tie down straps

Replacement parts are not available

If something breaks, like the ladder stops, there are no replacements available. You will have to buy a new ladder rack, so you may as well buy a ladder rack from a manufacturer that offers product support and replacement parts.

Need to offer spare parts for product!!!

The rack is a good light duty rack, easy to install and remove when needed. But the ladder stops are light duty plastic and break easily and end caps that hold ladder stops on are plastic and don't secure in place as screw is a little short. Could be a nice rack if these parts had also been mad out of metal instead of plastic. If you are going to sell something, offer spare parts for the cheap plastic items.

Great product, Clamp style needs improvement.

I just bought this brand new although from an individual, not a retail outlet. 1st impression is this is a solid unit that goes together easily. My only negative comment would be that it would be an even better product if the mounting clamps were adjustable or came in different sizes for different bed styles. I had to make use of a totally different kind of clamp and although the racks are very secure, the clamps are a bit unsightly.

a little low

yes i good

You get what you pay for - if that

I caused this problem by backing into a tree, but consider this: The tree branch was less than one inch in diameter and the aluminum mounting bracket sheared cleanly at two places; more like a plastic than metal. This is apparently a very brittle alloy with minimal amount of aluminum as evidenced by a total lack of necking on the sheared surface. MORE IMPORTANTLY, there are NO replacement parts for this very predictable failure point. I knew at this price point, I wasn't getting high grade alumi...
