Vornado 1500 -Watt Fan Utility Indoor Electric Space Heater with Thermostat

You pay extra for the style, but it works well!

I got it a month ago, so can't speak for the longevity, but it is definitely able to quickly heat up a room.

Looks great

It is doing what we bought it for, it is heating our very large living room.

Takes the chill off our 1st floor

This perfectly matches our Vorando Pedestal Fan. It heats up the room quickly and is not too loud in the high mode.

So good I bought another one!

I needed a heater for my office, the supplied one kept blowing the circuit breaker. I bought this lovely, and over Christmas break took it home for the week. My wife fell in love with it, so we bought one for her bedroom. The lower setting is plenty, but the high setting kicks butt! It's quiet, so quiet that I sometimes forget to turn it off. The thermostat allows you to set exactly how warm you want, and you can turn it down incrementally as the room warms. Now our second unit had a problem. T...

Heavy duty construction

Grandparents had a large version of this Vornado bought in 1950s that lasted 40 years. Glad to have one just like it

Warm Shower

I live in a home built in 1905, no wall heaters in the BR. Necessary in Montana. The green fits my decor, quiet fan, warms up quickly, decreased file risk, style fits my decor.

Excellent Whole Product

I only buy things that will last many years and have protection in case they don't. This product checks both of these boxes. As a machinist, I know when I am holding a quality product, and I much prefer over engineering to short lifespan products. This product has given me everything I asked for and a warranty to back it up in case I experience an issue. Yes, sometimes products have problems after they leave a manufacturing line but I haven't experienced one yet and if I did then no big deal, Vo...

What?

I wonder why the thermostat does absolutely nothing when set from 0 to 4. Strange since it only goes to 10.

Warm addition to my room

I have tried several options for my master bedroom to warm it without turning on heat in the entire house to no avail and came to Vornado due to the exceptional quality and functionality of their products. This one is very nice looks good and it sends a lovely wave of heat that is not overwhelming and pleasant to be around. Rebecca

Retro looks - old school quality

My Vornado fan from the early 90s finally gave up the ghost. While researching other fans, my ultimate decision was to go with a quality product. As a bonus, this has a nice retro look that compliments my 1948 ranch-style house.
