Steel Lockable Crawl Space Door

This was a simple and inexpensive solution for sealing up the crawl space access. I dug down below ground level at the entrance, mounted the frame/door to the brick exterior and filled the “pit” in front of the entrance with 4 bags of drainage stones.

Very poor paint application on door. The door itself fit the existing opening, If you need a frame and lintel, I have one.

Lock didn’t line up well

Product was as described and built well, but locking side of the hinge didn’t line up

Scratched and bent

While heavy and should be durable enough to last for years, I'm not happy with the appearance (big scratch) or usability (closure). I was tempted to return the item, but decided to keep it rather than waste my time getting the thing to the store and waiting another full week for a replacement.
