Their great reedy canes and palmy foliage make for large, magnificent plants, yielding blooms all summer for long lasting curb appeal. They are deer resistant and appear most dramatic when grouped in masses. These are fast growers with large flowers. Verdi cannas grow into a clump of bronze foliage, with contrasting bright orange flowers with a light yellow throat. Very bold and attractive. Good choice for collectors and pairs well with dahlias. Great price
Bare roots arrived in great condition: green and not dried out. After one week after planting, the cannas are emerging perfectly. Highly recommend this type of purchase because it keeps your cost low.

only two of the five arrived with any "eyes". other three are unlikely to sprout at all.

Two out of five ain't good
Had a similar experience: a month after planting, only two of the five bulbs sprouted. Returned the three dead bulbs for a refund (thanks, Lowes!)

Only 2 plants came up
It has been a month since I planted these. I planted all of them similarly, and two have come up (they are looking good...about 12 inches high now). I've waited patiently for the others to come up thinking they might just be taking longer. But, it seems apparent now that there were only 2 good ones in the bag. It's a lot of money to only have two flowers come up. I am disappointed.
