Valspar Pantone Mushroom Paint Sample (Half-pint)

Used for the exterior of our house. Looks Great!

We like that this color has a rich but neutral color. Elements of grey, brown, and in certain lighting even subtle greens or blues. We also like that it is one of the historic trust colors and unlikely to be discontinued.

Lyndhurst castle sand Valspar 5008

We luv this neutral versatile color by Valspar. We have used it in our home and in investment properties. Several friends and family have chosen this paint color after visiting our home. Depending on the natural light and decor accessories it can appear sandy , taupe or grey-green. VERY VERSATILE for an entire floor plan. I see that Pintrest also shows it as a favorite shade. I do hope Lowes stores still carry it even though it appears Lowes.com is not showing it.

Warm feeling

I love this paint color!! It really gives the room a relaxing feeling. It isn't to dark it's a very beautiful color for an office.

Midsummer Twilight - nice!

The color turned out better than expected, so I'll be getting more. For my bathroom it's the perfect shade of lavender, not too feminine and very classy. The paint itself had excellent coverage and no smell. It covered an ugly rust-red wall with 2 coats.

I Love this Color!

We purchased this color for my daughters room and we love it so much we will end up putting it in more rooms. It ends up being more of a gray but it is beautiful! My mom loved it so much she just painted 4 rooms in her house the same color.

Smartest decision of color

After waiting 10 years to paint, I chose to get a color that I could work around. I tried many shades of tans and this Cinncinnatain Hotel was perfect!! It's been 4 years and no regrets. In fact I think I need more for other rooms. It lasts very well. I advise using 2-3 coats. The paint is thick enough but where i used only 1 coat it's not quit the full color. Washes well on semi-gloss!! LOVE IT

Valspar Paint is not user friendly

I have done enough painting in my house to comment. This is my first Valspar paint purchase. I would not recommend Valspar to anyone and won't buy it again. From my first brush stroke, I noticed the consistency is much runnier then Behr and Clark & Kensington (Ace Hardware's paint ). You have to feather the edges quite a bit when cutting in with a brush or edger to avoid lines on the wall. I'm on my 3rd coat and the walls look spotty in the daylight. wonderful color

this is fantastic paint. Did my living room with it. Did two coats due to fact was going over print. My living room is fairly big. Double wide trailer, and thought I would have to use two gallons but was surprised.. Only took one and some left over. This is a very relaxing color. I am a diehard pantone person now. Have done my bathrooms, living room and soon bedroom. Can't wait to see results. This paint is AWSOME!!!
