Valspar Simplicity Satin Ultra White Tintable Latex Interior Paint + Primer (1-Gallon)

horrible

This paint looks great. Then it is sticky. Then it flakes off everything that lays on it or puts any pressure on it.

For Semi-Gloss it is more of high-Gloss

The coverage is good but it was way too shiny, The color doesn't come close to the swatch. The light gold we chose came out pink. I went back and got egg shell and a new color.

Good value for the price

I wanted a paint and primer product that had good coverage in one coat at a good price. I used it to paint the OSB I put up in my work shop. It covered quite good. I was trying to spread it as thin as I could and still not show through to much. It turn out pretty good for one coat. I did 128 sq. ft. and used about half the gallon. I was hoping for closer to 200 sq. ft. but OSB is not the smoothest surface to paint and it used a bit more paint to cover.

Poor coverage over old paint

This paint took 2 coats while painting bright white over a slightly off white paint. I would not buy it again. I think this is being discontinued, now I understand why.

MIZZOU YELLOW

The dark yellow covered extremely well. Even without a primer two coats did beautiful work.

Bad Coverage

Had high hopes for this paint. Smells as much as the non Zero VOCs. Does not cover well. Painted a very small room and still ran out. Had to keep going over and over spots.

toxic

I was highly allergic to this product. Have multiple chemical sensitivities and bought this to avoid VOCs. But this is far worse! I've switched back to the Valspar 2000 and have not had any issues since. I thought it was decent paint, though.

First time and last time user

I have been fixing up homes for 35 years and done many many painting projects with just about every brand of paint available and this one tops the list for worst coverage by far.Two coats of white over an already white wall and it will do but is still not perfect.The paint has the consistency of a premium paint but covers like a maintenance paint.I would highly recommend spending your money elsewhere for paint especially at the premium price Lowe’s is charging for this

I saved so much tome ising this paint fir my daughter’s playroom! It only needed one coat which was amazing!
