Its characteristics as a venetian plaster- style paint are fine. The issue is that few stores carry it in stock and zero have a physical color sample card. So you are stuck with using standard Valspar color samples. The issue is that if you want a deep color such as Posh Red, using the standard formula results in a Posh Pink hue. Not even close. Great product, worked well for me both times

This is my second time using the Venetian Plaster product, and it has worked very well for me both times. The process is more involved than just painting, but worth it if this is the desired effect. I originally tried this product because I had a house where the previous owner had done a horrible job installing wallpaper, and the walls were a mess once the wallpaper came off. I ordered it tinted and it wasn't. local stores do not carry it and most likely won't tint it

purchased online

I used this 8 years ago in my kitchen, I needed more for touch ups but my local store doesn't sell it anymore. I ordered a can online and it came untinted, it shows the color i needed in the item description. Now i need to make another trip to lowes to hopefully have it tinted correctly. Lowes is becoming a disappointment.
