Horrible paint

Used this paint tinted to a light blue to repaint a newly cleaned ceiling of our screened porch in June 2021. I encountered 2 problems with this paint: #1 Had to use 2 coats to get proper results. The first coat did not uniformly "wet" the previous paint. My first really bad time with Valspar

I’m currently trying to paint my front door. This paint had fairly good reviews and I typically like Valspar for everything. However I’m not having luck with this one. It’s a metal door that was never painted before so we cleaned up well and primed it with kilz 2 and let it dry for 2-3 hours (until it was fully dry to the touch.) then we gave it a coat of this. Great for fencing

This exterior paint was first recommended to me by a licensed contractor as a paint to use for fencing because it is a primer and paint. My fence had the old stain peeling off and looked terrible. I power washed it to get as much of the old stain off as I could. This paint covered very well and because it is a primer and paint, all in one, you only need one coat. front door looks like garbage now

I got this paint in the color Quite Red to paint my front door. On the can it says it dries to the touch in two hours, and ready for a second coat in 24-48 hours. I started out with a brush around the edges so that they would dry first. The paint was oddly thick and looked incredibly textured, and it dried fast and tacky so it was impossible to smooth out the texture. I even switched to a roller brush and didnt have better results. We picked up this paint bc one it was paint and primer in one, and 2 because it said it dried quickly. We live in an area that gets rain frequently. Should have bought Rustoleum

I was painting a steel and wood core exterior door that had been painted hunter green. I sanded it down, vacuumed and used a tack cloth and then two coats of Bullseye 123 primer.The next day I gave it a coat of the Valspar in white and the green still showed. Perfect Deck Paint!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is by far the best paint I have applied to our porch deck boards. This formula has a UV protectant, its to eliminate peeling (my hugest issue) and the primer is in the mix so less coats! I honestly could not be happier, I apiece 2 coats, dry time was about 2 hours. The porch looks as if it were just built, and the quality of this paint is impeccable.
