Great finish for cedar shingles
It's an excellent finish for white cedar shingles so that they age silver and are mildew resistant. Easy to apply and cleanup. It went on very uniformly , appears to penetrate the cedar, and adheres to the shingles so they bleach to gray. I'm going to buy it again for the rest of my house!
Cabot the best
Happy enough with the sealer, but a whiter shade than we were expecting. Have used Cabot for a couple of decades, having been a contractor, and always happy with results. First time color different from expectations.

Great product!
Perfect for our little shed! The color is just right—not too dark, not too light.

Not mixed well
Stain was not mixed well. Even after thoroughly shaking the can and stirring for a long time the were small black particles in the stain that were difficult and took time to brush out. It was more pronounced for the last half of the gallon.

Great Product
I used this for the first time four years ago and, honestly, I thought it would not be a good replacement for the traditional bleaching oil. I am very happy to say I was wrong. It looks as good as the day I applied it and there has been zero tannin bleed-through from the red cedar shingles it covered. I am very happy with it!
