Great paint
This container dispenses well and evenly applies the paint. In addition, the paint finish look great. I am looking to buy larger containers.

Excellent for Restoration
Using to refinish AC/Heat ceiling registers, plastic flower pots, door and window framing, and various other interior/exterior rigid plastic surfaces. Like every other paint product, preparation is everything, as is using several light coats. Attempted shortcuts will result in substandard performance. I've been using this product for years with absolutely no problems, therefore finding it difficult to believe so many negative reviewers. Again, take the proper steps and you will have no ...

not happy
I used this paint for outdoor plastic chairs. The chairs were pressure washed, then dried, wiped off and then painted in my garage. The look real nice. After having them outside for 2 days, I used a towel to wipe off leaves, dust and webs, and the towel picked up paint? I can't let anyone sit in them. They look nice, but still have to get rid of them, or do the whole process over with different paint.

Extremely disappointed
Used the gloss black to paint a plastic seat base for a powersports vehicle. Washed the surface thoroughly with dish soap and a scrubber sponge, rinsed clean, then blew surface dry with compressed air. Wiped off the surface with 90% alcohol then blew dry again. Paint was applied in a ventilated garage at approximately 68F. Coverage was good. After 6 days the paint is "dry", but fingerprints are left permanently and a fingernail will leave an indention or easily chip/peel the paint. Paint s...

Patio Makeover
For a friends birthday our group did a makeover on her patio at the home she is renting. We used this Valspar paint to brighten up a set of patio chairs she already had. One of the other girls loved it so much she went home and did hers!

Good - No Primer Needed
I initially had difficulty spraying the paint onto home exterior plastic PVC vent pipes. It was a very fine mist without any paint. Then I discovered you must push down firmly on the button. I also had to get closer to the object. And because I was outside, I needed to block out the wind. It is better to give several light coats. After the second coat, it looks good. Now I know why they suggest practicing before applying the spray paint. Their brochure does not indicate how to clean up. I used x...

Easy to use, great gloss
I bought the gloss black a while ago for a project that never happened. We are in the middle of a kitchen renovation and the back splash has been complete. Part of this involves changing out the 10 outlets, switches and their covers from white to black. I bought all of the required switches and outlets, and then remembered the can of Valspar plastic paint that I had sitting on a shelf in the garage. I figured that I'd give it a try. If it didn't work I could always purchase black ones. What a pl...

Poor coverage
I used the gloss white to cover a plastic RV vent dome on which I'd first applied Valspar Plastic Primer. Like the primer, the can produced a fine mist, not a spary, at the recommended 9-10" The mist did not adhere to the project so I sprayed at 2-3". Coverage was poor and I ran out of propellant with the paint can seemingly still half full. The finish was not glossy and it came out matte was good that it did not matter to me that it was.

Poor coverage
When searching for a spray paint to coat some PVC moulding I had made for a client, most of the results pointed me towards another brand (rhymes with nylon). However, Lowe's didn't carry that brand, so I went with the Valspar product, since I had had such great success with their other paints. I was sorely disappointed. The paint was very thin (even after more than a minute of shaking), and underlying colors still showed through after four coats. I then decided to look again for the other brand....
