Horrible Quality Paint

I've been a Valspar fan for years. Using their paint for many projects and always pleased. This was the first time using their cabinet paint product and I must say I was highly disappointed. I prepped the cabinet doors by sanding down to the wood the cleaning with a tack cloth and priming (even though it says that's not needed on the label). Terrible streak marks on kitchen table

I have used chalk paint on multiple pieces of furniture and wish I stuck with it instead of this paint. I painted multiple coats of primer and I am now on 4 th coat of valsapar furniture paint and I have terrible streaks. I used a roller, waited over a day in between coats and lightly sanded between coats. Hoping another coat would get rid of the streaks, instead they seem to be getting worse. NO COVERAGE

Yep, just like the other low reviews. POOR coverage. Used good primer and still having to do a third coat on cabinets. Runs easily. Can’t speak to durability, but I’m praying it’s worth it.

Took a chance

Honestly, I purchased this paint because it was one Lowe's had in stock at the time and I wanted to update the look of my sturdy 70's style wood cabinets without having to replace them. With the mixed reviews, I typically wouldn't have purchased this paint if I had had other options, but I was impatient and wanted my cabinets to look different NOW. I washed my cabinets thoroughly. Great on new wood furniture

I used this product on a dog crate and table I built. Despite the fact my dog scratches to open the door on his new cage the paint is holding up remarkably well. I’ve only used this on fresh, new wood and would recommend

Excellent Paint for Kitchen Cabinets

This paint is great. It worked as I had read about it & expected. It worked nicely on laminated kitchen cabinets. Nice & shiny look.

Expensive but it saved us $$$. No contractor !

Sticks very good to cabinet surfaces. I'm using it to cover a dark wood so 3 coats are needed.
