Valspar Cabinet and Furniture Cabinet and Furniture Paint

Very pleased with Veranda Blue

I was lucky enough to find a paint expert (whose name I can’t recall) that was truly knowledgeable about all the different paint options. Once I had selected the color (highly recommend that you buy sample(s) first), she recommended Valspar’s Cabinet & Furniture Paint in a semi-gloss finish. I decided to go with Valspar’s Veranda Blue. The pint was enough to paint two dressers (two coats on each) and still have plenty of paint left over.

Fabulous!!

This paint is Fabulous! We did not sand or prep. We used on Bathroom vanity. Changed Hardware. Looks like a Brand New Vanity!!! We were so happy with it we did another bathroom! Great Product! Great Results!!

AWFUL PAINT DO NOT BUY!!!!

Repainting oak bath cabinets. Sanded and washed down with Simple Green. Then repeated. Then primed. I have gone through this quart and only got 1 cabinet done. This paint will not cover!!!!. It is thin and runny. I have put 3 coats on now and it is NOT GOOD Bought paint elsewhere that is much better. Did not think it would take this long to paint 2 cabinets. Very Disappointed!!!!!!

Terrible streak marks on kitchen table

I have used chalk paint on multiple pieces of furniture and wish I stuck with it instead of this paint. I painted multiple coats of primer and I am now on 4 th coat of valsapar furniture paint and I have terrible streaks. I used a roller, waited over a day in between coats and lightly sanded between coats. Hoping another coat would get rid of the streaks, instead they seem to be getting worse. It’s been a very frustrating process. Sorry to say I will go back to chalk paint and coats of polyur...

NO COVERAGE

Yep, just like the other low reviews. POOR coverage. Used good primer and still having to do a third coat on cabinets. Runs easily. Can’t speak to durability, but I’m praying it’s worth it.

Hard and durable paint.

I have brushed, rolled and sprayed this paint with very good results but rolling with a foam roller and spraying are much better then using a brush. It takes a little longer to dry than other paints i have used but it dries hard and durable after a few days.

main complain to sales person.

i asked specifically for white color. i was given not tinted paint. whatever was in my can is not white. it is cream vanilla color. next can will be as much as price of gold with current gas prices. , since i have to drive to store and get new paint. and it will not be lowes paint.

Took a chance

Honestly, I purchased this paint because it was one Lowe's had in stock at the time and I wanted to update the look of my sturdy 70's style wood cabinets without having to replace them. With the mixed reviews, I typically wouldn't have purchased this paint if I had had other options, but I was impatient and wanted my cabinets to look different NOW. I washed my cabinets thoroughly. I did not sand, but did prime with a bonding primer, then painted 3 coats, with at least 24 hours dry time in betwee...
