Not for outdoor decks

“Not for use on exterior wood decks.” The name of this product line is misleading to the general public. That being said, it did nonetheless stick to my (new) customer’s exterior wood deck for 3 years. The previous contractor failed in buying this product for an outdoor.

Great coverage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great coverage. First coat covered completely. We added a second and third coat for durability. This is a shed floor we are making into a pottery.

Have to repaint often

I bought this almost 2 years ago and it went on nice but after allowing it to dry properly before a second coat and then waiting the recommended time before use and it seems that every 8 months or so I have to redo an entire portion of the basement floor. Its only ever in one spot and that spot is the same concrete as the rest of the basement and the paint went on it the exact same way as else where. I loved my color BUT

I tried this. The application was great with the sealer. I had 1 of the color stains. First it came wonderful BUT when it was time put things back into the space I had issues. I have dog who sheds and it showed up on the floor and was to much work. Then there were marks like scratch’s on the floor. I did 3. Application of the paint before the sealer with instructed drying time . I really should have gone with a lighter color. I will have to do this all over . I loved my color but it didn’t hold ...

Horrible.

Shocking product. ( the feel of the paint is between a latex glove and a balloon) We prepped the cement patio accordingly. Week-end project, Tuesday morning we were spraying water to get rid of pollen and the paint started peeling.

Peeling Basement Floor

I’m really kicking myself for not reading the reviews closer And not just relying on the recommendations of the paint store employee. I purchased Valspar’s Satin Porch, Floor & Patio Wood & Concrete paint. I thoroughly read the directions. I spent several days cleaning, washing with TSP, scrubbing, prepping so I could paint my basement floor. I primed it according to the prep instructions well. I applied 2 coats of paint. Nothing wrong as placed on the floor for over a week. This was a year ago....

My decks a mess!

I bought this paint for my deck. Had it professionally painted. 5 months later, it’s peeling. Horrible ! Now I have to repaint after just 5 months.

Don’t use on tile

We followed the instructions and prepped our tile, taped off, primed and painted. The first couple of months the entry way looked great. It’s a covered entry and we don’t use it oven. I noticed one spot pretty quickly - the paint was no longer there and original tile exposed. Yesterday, we pulled the bench and lanterns and rug etc out to clean it - under the rug, the paint was completely peeling up - I am guessing due to moisture (Florida) - patio is covered and this was exterior tile so it was ...
