Deceived about the size on the box & inside.
Product box says on it with big letters it is 30" so is the manual inside the box, on mounting it was only 281/2", there was open space on both sides underneath the cabinet. Had to come up with some pieces of foam and other material to finish the job and to start using it, as it was needed urgently.

Hood is great. though the suction does not seam noticeably stronger than a lower CFM hood, install was straight forward with options for venting back or up, touch free feature is cool and keeps the finish clean from touching it while cooking. I was disappointed with the black stainless finish as it was really just a matt black coating on top of the metal, don't pay the premium for black stainless just get the black.

Very Impressive and hands free
Easy installation and also has a motion sensor on the face so if your hands are dirty from cooking you can just wave your hand to change fan settings. Very Cool! Also moves a ton of air to keep your house from filling with smoke or steam
