Great airflow
I was originally looking for a small evaporative cooler to take on camping trips. however I found a great price on this large unit. I am very glad I purchased it as it is working out great in the house. I am using it in conjunction with a small portable ac unit mounted in the window. I typically run it on fan mode only if the humidity is over 60%. This still works great with the ac unit behind it blowing in outside air. I don't use the water hose connection. Worst product i ever bought!! Worked great for a week and then the fan motor started glitching and only runs on low speed and a week later when I try to turn it on the fan just sits there not moving . I literally have to shake the unit for the fan blades to start moving....stay away from this

Worked for 2 days then would not power on. Working with vevor for two weeks now they are sending me a new computer board that will take 10 to 15 days to arrive. I'm guessing it will be up to me to install this since they are shipping it to me. I recommend buying a different brand.

The best evaporative cooler in town!
I love everything about it. I have 4 of them in my house and they keep it so cool and comfortable that I don't even need to use air conditioning in the summer. Better than solar in my opinion and they virtually cost so little that the AC bill is not a nightmare anymore. I show them with water twice a day and set them for 12 hours on the timer and forget about it the rest of the time. They are really great.

Watch the wheels
Bought ours to replace a larger one that the motor went out in. It did okay for what we were trying to do, nothing special but did help cool the garage. I do like the built in ice area. A little over a month into having this the wheel broke off while wheeling across a smooth cement floor. I guess that why they have the handles on the side, but you think with wheels you should be able to roll it. Just be careful otherwise it did okay. It's not built to last a lot of years.
