shipping issue no help
I ordered this item and mistakenly had it shipped to my old address I tried to fix the issue the same night as the order and ran into a total bureaucratic stone wall. not one person was willing to help

Maybe got a bad one, or maybe its just bad product
So my first gripe, the griddle top DOES NOT COME OFF. So, don't expect that. I may have gotten a bad one, either the thermostat is bad or it straight up doesn't work, or this is junk. Even on highest setting (472 deg) it can barely manage 300 degrees on my temp pointer, and took 30 min to get there. And the recovery from a cold food or even cleaning with water is terrible. I don't know why I fool myself into thinking you can get a good performing griddle on 120V, just not possible.

I purchased the 1600 watt 22" flat top griddle to replace a Blackstone E-Series 17" griddle. The Vevor outperforms the Blackstone in any which way imaginable. First time using it I powered up to around 300F. Then increased to a bit over 420F and applied 4 coats of avocado oil for the seasoning. Since then I have cooked on it about a dozen times and absolutely love it and look forward to each next cook. It does make a little bit of noise when preheating, but nothing too gnarly.
