Bugs inside; difficult to clean and put together.
I have had these sun tunnels for 9 years; I love the sun in my dark kitchen and hallway, but they are a pain to take apart, clean, and put back together! Bugs gather inside the tunnels, visible from below, and unsightly. Taking the frame off (twisting it) and replacing it is a nightmare. The design is ridiculous. There must be a better way to take these apart and replace (magnets, perhaps?) I need advice on how to update these or replace them. I would not recommend them as they are. I wou...

Cold Weather Climate - ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
Adds a great amount of light, that part is accurate. If you live in a cold weather climate, DO NOT install one of these! Even if you properly integrate the interior end of the tube and seal the vapor barrier and tube application (Which directions do not call for by the way) you will have a small fish bowl in your ceiling due to condensation.
