All in all,not a bad product, especially for the price. Have it on deck, mounted in some cement filled flower pots. 60 mph winds tried to move it, but it stood up to the test. However, if there were some cross beams to limit the shaking. It would be better.

Patch job passed quality control?

Our pergola arrived yesterday and I unboxed today. I just got done unwrapping all the pieces and noticed an odd "patch" that looks like it's rusting. There was no damage to the packing material/box so this is the quality that was allowed to leave their assembly plant. No quality control department apparently. We will be returning!
