in the store it was labeled 2x6 and 2x8. It is definitely for a 2x8. works well though hanging a joist.
Check the item number.
Item number JUS28-TZ is for 2x8 joist. Lowes has it labeled as for 2x10. JUS210-TZ is for 2x10. Lowes says it is for 2x8-10. The product is great. But Lowes website is wrong.
Excellent way to get the joist in place fast...
These are great and easy to use. Screw them up, place your board in the bracket and secure with screws. It's that easy.
