The product appears to be a reliable and high-performing lawn mower with consistently easy starting, lightweight and maneuverable design, effective mulching and bagging capabilities, and durable construction. While a few customers reported minor issues, the majority praised the mower as an excellent value-for-money purchase that gets the job done reliably. Hello please disregard my earlier review today in which I gave 1 star. The mower is a good one but I only used twice so too early to recommend to friends or should I say too late, because I returned to Lowe’s because it stopped working for me. ( I USED THE WRONG FUEL). I’m sorry I had to return.
Been good so far
I've had this mower for about 4 years now and no issues what so ever. Cranks on the first try every time with no priming. Only complaint is the weight, gets a little heavy for women or smaller users and debris bag does spill a bit when almost full but other than that it has been a great mower with minor preventative maintenance.
Engine blew, piston out the side, 4 yrs, oil good
Was very happy with it, easy start and use, kept in new condition in climate controlled garage. Then the piston blew right through the side of the case. Lucky my wife and daughter safe, or neighbors dog. Oil was fresh and exact level. I'm sure I will get nothing in the way of a warranty or any else, but don't care. Even if abused a Briggs/Stratton engine should never fail like this.
Lawn mower is a lemon
i bought this lawn mower in 2017 have not use not even 8 time and each time there has been a problem with starting. I have work done it a year later only to pay for repair and it has broke down again. Repair man told me LOWE'S sold me a lemon only because i was a female not knowing what to buy. troy-built has been the best product to buy. Please help me.
Terrible!!!
I've had this lawnmower for less than a year I've had to have the carburetor cleaned and repaired. After using it several times in 2 months,it won't start again

A truly disposable mower good for a 1 season
It will work but only for one season. The carburetor is a truly horrible design so if you buy this, be prepared to buy another mower next season. Mine worked for 11 cuttings of a small yard and then stopped (after the warranty of course). They should offer this mower with a non Briggs and Stratton engine. The best thing that can be said of this mower is it will make a great gift to somebody you don't like.

If you want a mower for one year this is for you!!
I previously bought these mowers and they lasted me 3 or 4 seasons. I live S of Houston and we mow 7 months a year. The last 2 Tbilts I bought lasted less than 2 seasons. They look brand new but the fuel system rusts out and clogs up the carb. I was told it was due to the additives in the gasoline........duh.....if you know there are additives that rust out what you are building your equipment with shouldn't you use different materials?!?!?!?! Fresh fuel to start the year and when the can g...

Great mower
Easy to start. Easy to push. The only reason I gave it 4 is it is not self-propelled.--My Choice!
