Poorly Built

I purchased this snow blower 3 days ago. When I got it home for use, I had one issue after another. The first problem was when filling it with gas, the gas tank falls inside the plastic housing. I was able to fish it out with my fingers and fill it as long as I didn't bump the filler tube. I primed the carburetor several times and it would not start using the electric start. This is my first snow blower that I purchased on December 2nd of 2013. I think it performed quite well over the winter. Especially back in February when we got 13" of snow. I PURCHASED THIS BLOWER ON SALE TO AUGMENT MY AGING 2 STAGE MACHINE. Great little snow blower.

I bought mine 4 or 5 years ago and it has been used quite a lot. I put fresh fuel in it at the beginning of each season, I add 'Sta-Bil', and it never fails to start. I've always used the electric start until this year. I got lazy and didn't feel like dragging an extension cord over to where its stored. But this machine always starts on the easy first pull. It ran THREE times!

This is about my experience. Others, clearly, have had a better experience. Year 1, 2016: Used it twice. Year 2, 2017: Used it once. Before, however, I had taken it back to Lowe's because it was running very rough. I was charged $99 to change the oil! Still ran like a clap-trap (whatever that is...)!
