Upgrade your outdoor living space with Trex Transcend Lineage composite decking, designed for style and long lasting performance. In select products featuring Trex SunComfortable™ Technology, boards are engineered to help reduce heat absorption for a cooler feeling deck surface* compared to our original boards. A durable protective shell resists fading and staining and eliminates the need for sanding staining or sealing. Ideal for backyard decks patios and outdoor spaces, Trex decking is backed by a 50 year limited residential warranty. *Not all Trex decking contains SunComfortable Technology. Trex decking with SunComfortable Technology stays cooler than our original boards, but like all decking, it will get hot in direct sun on hot days, especially darker colors. Care should be taken to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface, especially with young children and those with special needs. *Based on laboratory testing simulating direct full summer sun exposure over an extended period. Colors used are Lava Rock (without SunComfortable Tech) and Salt Flat (with SunComfortable Tech). Actual temperature reduction may vary depending on environmental conditions color and usage. Trex decking with SunComfortable Technology will get hot in direct sun on hot days. Care should be taken on such days to avoid extended contact between exposed skin and the deck surface.

We are very pleased with the Rainer Trex Decking! it seems very durable and was easy to install with the hidden fasteners. It isn't as hot as other composite decks we've been on either, we are so glad we upgraded to the Trex Transcend Lineage! we are excited to use this deck for years to come!

Delivery went well, product is good. I found the last "board" somewhat stained and damaged with a 1.5"x 1/8" cut on the top. Will be able to use it because I need to split the board. Packagers need to be more careful and only send good product.

Coolest in my direct sun test

Would Recommend

Light and medium colored Trex Transcend Lineage capped composite samples under direct sun after 1 hour were ~104 deg F vs ~112-117 def F for competing light colored Moistureshield Voyage Surestone and Timbertech Harvest Advanced PVC. Trex Lineage scratched similar to the other samples. Moistureshield has less expansion and contraction. Trex Lineage was tied with the TimberTech PVC for highest price per lineal foot.

Never received refund for damaged board

Would Not Recommend

One of these 20-foot boards arrived via delivery crushed and split on one end. I asked for a replacement board and to have the broken board be picked up and be credited accordingly. The broken board was picked up, but I received no refund. Despite at least two attempts with Lowe's customer service for a refund, I have yet to see a refund over three months later. Do not buy because Lowe's apparently will not honor a return of a board that was obviously damaged on delivery. My review includes p...
