Toter 64-Gallon Blackstone Plastic Trash Can

The Blackstone finish looks much cleaner than a standard gray bin and hides scuffs well. It feels very durable, and the 64-gallon size is the 'sweet spot', large enough for a week of trash but not so bulky that it’s hard to maneuver through a side gate. The heavy-duty wheels make the trip to the curb effortless. Overall 5/5 & worth the Stone finish.

Not as big as a standard trash cart.

I've purchased 2 of these for use at our airbnb innthe mountains. Has been working perfect for several months. Highly recommended.

Make Sure You Can Lock the Lid Before Buying!

I do recommend this bear resistant trash can with the caveat to carefully check that the lid does indeed lock before heading to the checkout: husband went through 3 cans before finding one that locked securely. The others just didn’t catch on the inside metal locking loop - guessing the quality control has room for improvement. I especially like that the release mechanism is easy to do with one arthritic finger, but no way a bear could ever figure it out ;-) !

Great Bear Proof Can!!

We purchased this can in July 2016. 5 years later, it still performs perfectly! I can’t tell you how many bears have gotten hold of it, but they have only succeeded twice due to the top not being secured properly by family members. Lots of battle scars, and hopefully has a lot more life (it’s out of stock like most things you want).

Had a hard time locating one of these trash cans, but finally found one in Murphy, NC. Unfortunately had to have it delivered, which cost $100, but well worth it.
