Absolutely trash. I’ve tried painting my aluminum body now THREE TIMES. I’ve sanded it down multiple times, etched, prime AND THE PAINT STILL DOENST STICK. I can run my finger across it and peel the paint off after a few days. I’ve WASTED TO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT for this paint to not do anything. Save yourself the hassle and insanity and buy something else.

Not a great product
I bought this paint a week ago and it was not khaki color. It turned out green! Now I have a green boat and can not do anything about it.

Flaky paint
I followed the directions. It won’t dry fully and I think Im gonna repaint and put primer on but the paint on the website says it doesn’t need it. It just scratches of with a finger nail

Don't get it wet!
I used this paint on the bottom & sides of a 1448 Tracker. About 36 hours after following the directions exactly, it got rained on, blistered, and had to be scraped off. I assumed it was my fault for not giving it time to completely cure. After scraping the peeling paint, I repeated the process, with another 3 coats, and kept under cover for a month while doing other work. After three 2-3 hour trips, a good portion of the paint has peeled off the area that is below the waterline. Very disappoin...

Terrible Durabilty
After every proper surface preparation step, the paint peels off in sheets and scratches with a fingernail.

Do Not Buy!!
Paint is absolute garbage. Looks good when applied but has no durability whatsoever. Very disappointing especially when all the prep work was done prior to applying the paint.

Happy so far!
I had to repair some holes from galvanic corrosion to my aluminum boat. I used an epoxy type product to patch the holes initially. Then I went over it with a (uv) type epoxy applied to the boat bottom. I decided to use total boat aluminum paint to the bottom as a third measure even though the epoxy that I used is (uv) protected. As this might be overkill I felt that it was necessary, and the boat paint came out nicely. So, I have taken the boat a few times to fish in the bay and the paint is ...

Do not use this paint ! Peels off with your finger nail
Prepped boat for paint as directed and used the etching. Paint peels off brand new aluminum that was prepped per directions and also the old painted sections. So disappointed as the paint sprayed on very nicely and looked great. Let it cure for a week before using and paint started to immediately peel! Now all of the decking is peeling off because the paint will not stay attached. This product has cost me so much money and time. I would have been better off using latex house paint!!!
