What Customers Are Saying

The aluminum boat paint has received mixed reviews. Some customers found it easy to apply with good coverage and durability, while others experienced significant issues with the paint peeling, flaking, or scratching off, even after proper surface preparation. The color also did not always match expectations. Overall, the paint may work well for some users, but there are quality control and adhesion concerns, so careful application and preparation is advised.

Needed a very tough paint for deck railing caps

Would Recommend

Used on some deck caps that get ocean spray. Seems to be a great solution to the peeling that was happening to the original black powder coat

Fair

Would Not Recommend

It went on very thin and had trouble over another layer of lighter paint despite following instructions. I expected better . It is also pretty fragile and seems to rub off easily

Paint peeled right. Off

Sanded it down with 220 grit and etched it and peeled off after the first time on the water
