A pain to change the blade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this edger last June. Worked good all summer. Now its spring time and I want to change the blade. The manual is incorrect. There is no place to place a wrench on the inside of the cutting assembly. No way to hold the blade still for removal. I even took the edger to the dealer. They confirmed. No easy way to remove the blade. They will have to perform this task with their impact tools. This is no good. I should have waited and paid mor...

DO NOT BUY
Do not buy this product. It is worthless. The assembly takes hours and the motor will not crank. I had to take it to a small engine repairman to work on it before I could even use it. He worked on it and had to get another person to work on it just to get it to crank. I got it home and used it once. The second time it would not crank. I took it back to another repairman and he said he couldn't believe a new engine used once wouldn't crank. Tried to return it. They gave me another one. It wouldn'...

HORRIABLE PRODUCT. SHOULD BE CALLED THEFT.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] DO NOT BUY. Please do not buy this product.I was given one as a gift. After hours of assembly it would not crank. Had to take to a small engine mechanic. He couldn't get it to crank. Took it back and was given another one. This time I had a certified mechanic put it together. After assembly it ran one time. Couldn't get it to crank again. Have had 4 mechanics look at it and they say its junk. I donated it to a friken Ag department and the ag te...

Heavy Duty Edger
Overall this Walk-Behind Edger is very heavy duty and that is the reason I purchased it. I did my research before I chose the Toro and have had pretty good luck with Toro lawnmowers in the past, this model was more expensive but I figured it would last me a while. A couple of things is that I am not the most mechanically inclined and the directions to put the edger together left something to be desired and it took me a while to figure that out. I realize I could go on line / etc. but I got my ne...

Good edger with some annoying details.
Great edger with good power and it seems very well built. But, I was kinda surprised how involved the assembly was even though I'm mechanicaly savvy. I blame the instructions mostly because they're trash. The absolute most annoying thing about this edger is the handle bars. They're atrocious and I can't believe an engineer designed this. They're too close together and have a weird upward angle that force your hands and wrists into a pretty uncomfortable position, which feels progressively wors...

Easy Ordering, Fast Delivery
Ordering online was easy. Unit arrived a day earlier than promised. Instruction could point out screws a little better or even a diagram to show what size is what size and some of the screw/bolts are the same size but maybe a different length. Leave the back tires loose as you do not need to tighten all the way down. I have had many edgers and like this one as it has a throttle for the speed, others are just on at one speed.

Great Walk Behind Edger
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pessimistic when I ordered it, I had a McLane for the last 20+ years that finally died on me. I could not justify that cost again as old as I am. But a new home and lots of edging along grass and natural beds meant I could not use a “trimmer-edger” to get that accomplished. The easy pull start on the Toro edger won me over immediately, the controls were easy and it did a great job. It was of lighter construction than my old one & it jumped...

Walk-Behind Edger 3.5-in Push Walk -Toro
Overall love the product. Nice settings for depth and angle of cut. Ample power [79cc]. Very easy to start. Assembly takes a while; certain aspects of the instruction manual were not clear, but if you take your time, you can figure it out. All the hardware was included--nothing missing. Very easy to handle and run. 5 stars easily. It does kick up Debrie towards the operator at times, but nothing severe.

Easy start and runs great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this about a month ago. I must say assembly absolutely sucks and the instruction manuel about the same. Once it was put together after one use I would say highly recommended. Works so much better than the old corded one I previously had.

Toro Lawn Edger
The product was difficult to assemble. Much of the directions were illustrations, with minimal written directions. This perhaps enables the manufacturer to limit the volume of instructions, but it sucks not to have the necessary written directions. Just used the edger this morning and was totally impressed with it’s performance.
