Poor quality
Huge chunks out of the posts. Some were split. Very rough. Ordered 44, only delivered 12.

Tunnel-Damaged Wood
Significant amount of what looked like mud-packed tunnel damage on each of the four delivered 4x4s. Didn't have the opportunity to sift through pieces in the store.

Went to 3 different stores
I needed 8 4x4x8 cedar posts. I needed them to be straight and at least no. 2. Frist store doesn't carry cedar. The second store had 6 in stock, 2 bowed and 4 no.1 (one with a slight bow). The third store showed 12 in stock and I am glad I took the 4 because there was only 8 at the third store and all were no. 2 and very rough. I got the best 4 and had to surface sand all 4 sides and round the corners to get them to as close to matching the first 4 as possible.
