10 years and going strong
We purchased our Thor 36 Inch Professional gas range back in 2016. We couldn't have asked for a better centerpiece for our kitchen. Burners cook well and evenly, and the oven has space for any baking project we envision! Maintenance is the only issue we have had. It is difficult to find Thor servicers in our area (the Gulf Coast), so we ultimately had to figure out how to maintain it ourselves. We replaced the door gasket for the first time last year. But we've had to replace the igniter roughly...

Horrible warranty process, never again buying Thor
The igniters on both ovens went out less than a year after purchase. The smaller oven was used less than 20 times, so this was extremely disappointing. After running into trouble finding companies willing to do warranty work for Thor (we now understand why), we chose to go the reimbursement route. It has now been 2 1/2 months since the repair and I still haven’t been reimbursed. The goalpost continually moved from what I needed to supply (or they simply just didn’t give me all of the information...

Warranty claim less than a year old
Just before the one year mark of purchase, the larger oven stopped heating. Within days, the smaller oven also stopped heating. The broil setting works, as do the burners. It is likely an igniter issue, though 3 weeks later we are still waiting on diagnostics. Thor was initially responsive and the claim process was easy, but nearly two weeks after they had “reached out to available technicians in our area,” and multiple messages with zero response, we still didn’t have an appointment. Moved into our new house and love my new range! The burners are very powerful, water boils in no time. The simmer feature works great.

Beautiful range!
This range looks great and functions beautifully. It's a wonder to cook with, though it does have a learning curve (but it is a fun learning curve) to really get the results you want. I do find the burners to be a touch finicky, hence the 1-star deduction, but otherwise we're very pleased with our purchase so far.
