Thompson's WaterSeal Pre-tinted Autumn Brown Solid Exterior Wood Stain and Sealer (1-Gallon)

Product does not hold up

I had my deck professionally power washed and stained back in October using the SOLID _Autumn Brown stain. I noticed after a month that the stain had already stared to peel off the deck to the point that some boards look like they were never stained. and yes the desk was properly cleaned before applying the stain and the temperature was above 55 -60 degrees. I am very dissatisfied with your product and would hope that Thompson's is a honorable company and would make this right considering...

Looks nice but doesn't last on walking surfaces

We stained a number of things with this stain. Our chicken coop, a swing set, and our deck. And I wished we would have only done one thing first to see how it worked. It looks great on our coop and half the swing set, I will give it that. It does look good, I love the color. BUT...walking surfaces on the deck and the swing set look horrible. Very disappointed

Stained Our Deck in June of 2020. It started peeling within just a few months. These pictures or taken today in June of 2021. All of the horizontal services are peeling off. The vertical surfaces are lasting better. It looked absolutely beautiful when it was first applied.

Not consistent!

We bought a total of 8 gallons of stain. The first 4 gallons were identical and looked great. The last 4 gallons were all different colors and consistency!!!!! Waisted hours of labor and money

Awful Product

Had my deck stained September 2020 after following all the deck preparation procedures to the letter before applying the stair. it is now February 2021 only 5 months later and stain is already peeling off.

Awesome

Applied this stain and sealer to my deck. Not only is it beautiful but it has lasted for much longer than I thought previously.

Not Recommened at all !

I power washed my deck,left it dry for days. Applied this solid stain in early September and it looked great. Now that December is here it is peeling very badly and is a total waste of money and more importantly a waste of my time. I am going to seek a refund for the 3 gallons I used.

Looks orange

I purchased maple brown. Looks orange. Bought cedar. Looks orange too. Both look awful. Wasted so much time and money.

Great Sealer!

I got some two years ago and it made my deck look amazing! Will use this product again in the future!

Not recommended

Used this product to stain my entire fence. I was pleased with it at first, but after about 8 months, most of the stain on the horizontal pieces of the fence were peeling up.
