Thompson's WaterSeal Clear Flat Transparent Water-based Exterior Waterproofer ( 1-gallon )

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the product's effectiveness at protecting wood surfaces, with reviewers noting water beading, quick drying, and long-lasting results on decks, fences, and outdoor structures. Many appreciate the easy application, quick cleanup, and reasonable coverage. However, a substantial group reports severe damage when applied to concrete, describing permanent black residue, sticky surfaces lasting weeks, and milky discoloration. Some long-time users note formula changes, citing thicker consistency and reduced effectiveness. Despite concrete concerns, most customers find it highly effective for intended wood applications.
