The Yankee Candle Company 2 -Wick Ocean Air Blue Jar candle

Broken

Ordered six candles - all arrived broken. They were shipped three each in two zip lock bags with a few sheets of bubble wrap thrown on top. Chatted with customer service (who were very helpful) and replacements were sent. Same thing with second shipment - a box full of broken candles. Now awaiting information on refund status. The candles would be wonderful if they were packaged correctly.

Beautiful scent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading Samantha8654's review I was curious since soft blanket is my all time favorite and it's not always available. Glad I tried this without ever smelling it. The smell doesn't remind me at all of the ocean though, it's a more powdery musk perfect for a bedroom or even a bathroom. Reminds me of Soft Blanket and Dreamy Summer Night

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are familiar with Soft Blanket and Dreamy summer nights, this candle may remind you of that. It has a warm soft romantic scent I wasn’t expecting but I did like. It had a decent throw. It is much less marine than some of my other Yankee water candles.

Pleasant, Strong Fragrance

I love the smell of apples and Macintosh is the one of the best. I don’t buy a lot of Yankee candles anymore but this one is awesome!!

Smells great

The candle is very attractive ao I can sit out anywhere. The scent reminds me of a sunny beach, with a nice ocean breeze which is exactly what I love. Candle burns well, and lasts a long time. I would recommend

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ocean air scent of this candle was not quite what I was expecting. While I expected something fresh and airy because of the bergamont, lemon, and various flowers, this came off to me more musky than I would have wanted. Almost like an aftershave or a men’s cologne. that being said, it burned nicely, but I don’t think I would use it frequently.

The larger candle requires more larger wicks

The Candle diameter is too large for only two wicks therefore the wax melts and drowns out the two flames instead of burning it like 3 wicks would.

Subtle but Pleasant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ocean Air isn't the strongest scent out there and its throw is moderate at best. I like having it in the background, when one wants a touch of fragrance but nothing overwhelming.

Smells like the holidays

Smells like Christmas! I love to buy these yankee scents around the holidays every year and Lowrs always has the ones I like.

A beautiful scent!

I just think it is a beautiful scent. Was on sale for $8 and that’s why I bought it besides the scent being beautiful.
