What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise these self-tapping wood-to-metal screws for exceptional durability and reliable performance in demanding applications like trailer builds and outdoor installations. Most report the screws penetrate steel and thick wood easily without pre-drilling, hold firmly under stress, and never bend or break during use. Reviewers consistently highlight the self-tapping design as a key advantage, noting they start easily and provide confident grip. Many appreciate the strong value for money. A small number encountered dulling when driving into very thick steel or reported needing pre-drilling despite the self-tapping label, though these issues remain isolated. Overall, customers strongly recommend these screws for rugged projects.

A must-have for camper van build out
Worked exactly as intended. Screwed some lumber straight into my Ford E350 frame for my camper build. Absolutely perfect for and DIY task to secure wood to metal.

Look for the option with Torx drive.
Performed well. Seems like Lowes carries a cheaper option for the same price as competitors with Phillips heads instead of better Torx drive.

These "Self Tappers" are not self tapping.
I had to drill for every screw I put in. A waste of time and money for the cost of the screws. I would not recommend buying unless you like to do the job twice.
