Real wood. Pine, we think. Easy to assemble. Good looking product for fussy gardener. We lined the finished planter boxes with heavy duty weed control fabric to protect inside of the wood. Delivered on time.

Easy setup
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a gardening fan. I don't think digging on my property in the city is a great idea. This product is perfect and ideal for your own garden in a contained section of your choice. The material is very sturdy and easy to put together. I definitely recommend to gardeners.

Only ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wood split in 2 places even after we pre drilled. The end pieces are pre drilled but not the walls so we had to do that because it would have split worse because the wood is really soft wood. It looked easy to put together but was not. Once together I did like it. But not sure how it would hold together long term

It was easy to assemble by myself. Words of wisdom, assemble outside because it was bigger than I imagined, which is great. There is plenty of room for a few different plants. It seems very sturdy.
