Fabric of the hammock plays a critical factor
The hammock stand was easy to assemble and seems very sturdy. Unfortunately, while my hammock measures 9.5 feet, it bottoms out to the ground when I sit/lie in it! I weigh 120 lbs. so that shouldn't be a factor. I assume fabric must play an important role in terms of stretch and weave. So, it is my suggestion to potential buyers to evaluate the stiffness of the fabric and not just the length.
Sturdy but Tiny
Its a great little stand for ENO hammocks or cheap hiking hammocks. The brand's hammocks don't fit this stand. Or most common hammocks you find don't fit this stand. Off to return it to get a larger one
